Since incorporation in 1979, AMSHORE has been responsible for discovering numerous oil and gas fields and field extensions along the Texas Gulf Coast. In addition to oil and natural gas exploration, AMSHORE is highly involved in the renewable energy field and currently has wind leases covering over half-a-million acres in North America. Currently, AMSHORE has wind projects totaling more than 3,400 mega watts (MW) either generating electricity, under construction or development and a prospect pipeline of 4,000 MW under review.
AMSHORE’s experienced exploration and management team integrates various resources to locate and develop oil and natural gas reserves. Viable prospects are delineated primarily with the use of 3-D (three-dimensional) seismic that is interpreted on in-house computer hardware and software. The Company has a large database of subsurface geologic maps, electric well logs, production data in addition to over 1,000 miles of 2-D seismic lines and more than 700 square miles of 3-D seismic data. This data is invaluable in the assessment of prospects and supplements geological interpretations.
AMSHORE is continuing its drilling and wind leasing activities to keep pace with the nation’s increasing energy demand. South Texas, where most of AMSHORE’s drilling efforts are located, is one of the most prolific natural gas producing areas in the United States.
AMSHORE’s management believes the decrease in drilling activity will create a window of opportunity in the coming years. As a direct result, excellent economic and cash flow opportunities will exist for those companies and individuals participating in both oil and gas and renewable energy exploration. Additionally, AMSHORE believes that renewable energy is where oil and gas was 50 years ago and provides an exciting opportunity to develop our natural resources emissions free.
