Vice President

vp Jeff has been engaged in renewable energy development with Amshore for over 10 years. As Vice President, Jeff leads the Amshore team’s efforts to advance a 2,000+ Megawatt portfolio of wind and solar projects under development, while also currently working to support completion of construction efforts to bring an additional 1.2 Gigawatts of wind generation to commercial operations in 2019 and 2020.

The Amshore Wind team is responsible for originating over 2.7 Gigawatts of wind generation projects, among them, the largest coastal project in the US, and the Los Vientos Phase 3, 4, and 5 projects, part of the Los Vientos Windpower facility, which is the largest wind farm in the State of Texas and second largest in the U.S. by AWEA rankings of single-owner installed capacity. Jeff oversees Amshore US Wind operations, leading new project origination, management of project development efforts including land and row acquisition and negotiation, management of site feasibility studies and permitting, project layout determination and regulatory coordination, strategic development partnership procurement and project offtake marketing strategies, community outreach and coordination for local economic development agreements, title curative efforts for project lender financial approval, and project design, micro-siting and construction support management.

Jeff received a degree in Government and Business from the University of Texas in 2004 and worked in Austin, Houston and New York prior to joining Amshore in 2008. He is an active Life Member of the Texas Exes Alumni Association, the Phi Delta Theta Alumni Organization, and with his wife and family, is a supporter of the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Corpus Christi and Central Texas, Driscoll Children’s Hospital, the Texas State Aquarium, the March of Dimes, the Brookwood Community, Houston Campus, the Friends of St. James and the Alley Theatre Supporters. Jeff and his wife, Yvonne, live in Corpus Christi with their children, Samuel and Emma. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and extended family, in South Texas and the Texas Hill Country, traveling with his wife and children on cross-country road-trips, and skiing. Jeff also performed standup comedy for four years in venues in Austin, Houston, Chicago and New York.
